The Grow NOW Life Cleanse: The Next 3 Steps

Creating this blog has been one of the greatest decisions of my life. A best friend, mentor, and future business partner persuaded me to do it. Writing these posts and sharing them with any awesome person who decides to take the time to read it means everything to me. I could never imagine that I would enjoy blogging as much as I do with Grow NOW.

As I have discussed in my previous posts, I am an individual who has made a lifetime of mistakes. A complete fool some would say. Elementary school, middle school, high school, college, work... everything I did was to please other people, to try and "fit in." Every friend I had didn't give a crap about me, and I had achieved NOTHING to help advance my life.

It wasn't until graduate school when I began to excel at something I was passionate about and I was motivated by that same best friend, that I began to be ME. For the first time EVER!

I was able to learn from my mistakes and become from the best individual I had ever been. I began to do things on a daily basis that made me happy, proud, and successful. Looking back, it was the first time in my life I had felt those feelings for what they truly are.

There is a question I want everyone who reads this blog to ask themselves:
"Can you remember who you were before people told you who you ought to be?"

THAT is what Grow NOW is all about.

I believe there are few things more sad on this earth than when an individual turns away from what makes them unique. Nothing more tragic than wasted talents.

I firmly believe that all people are born UNIQUE INDIVIDUALS

Every person is different in their own way. Every person has their own strengths & weaknesses, likes & dislikes, talents & passions.

Every person on this earth has ONE THING they can do better than EVERYONE ELSE.

Which is the foundation for my premise: ANYONE CAN BE GREAT!

In life, we are all unique individuals. We have a set purpose in life: one specific way that we can work with our passions and thrive happily. We work ambitiously toward that goal until it is achieved. Until....

So we are born unique individuals.....and then what happens?

Distractions are all around us. We live in a world full of distractions.

We are all unique individuals until we are changed by the distractions.

Self-doubt, self-consciousness, popularity, standards, superficiality, friends, television, cell-phones, facebook, instagram, snapchat, cell phones, twitter, alcohol, drugs, the past, hindsight, fear.

Just to name A FEW.

All of us are born unique individuals. We all begin life believing in ourselves and have no self-doubt. We are on the road to becoming the person we are MEANT TO BECOME.

Until the distractions begin.

Everything that you do during the course of your day is a DECISION. A CHOICE.

Everything you do that is keeping you from achieving your dreams, or simply not aiding that a DISTRACTION.

If you are wasting your time on social media. If you are wasting your time doubting yourself. If you are wasting your time getting high. If you are wasting your time dwelling on the past. If you are wasting your time trying to please others.

You are holding yourself back from achieving your goals and Growing NOW.

You are not being the person you were meant to be.

You are being who the distractions have made you.

This is why I created the Grow NOW Life Cleanse.

The Grow NOW Life Cleanse is EXACTLY what I used to cleanse my life of distractions.

It is one of the greatest things I ever did.

I FINALLY became the person I was meant to become. I believed in myself. I was not tempted by others. I did WHAT I WANTED TO...on a daily basis! I started to make the right kind of friends. I made myself and my family much more happy and proud than ever before.

With the Grow NOW blog...I get to share my life cleanse with you. I want others to learn from my mistakes, so that they are able to Grow NOW instead of later. Achieve their dreams sooner than they ever could have imagined.

Realize how AMAZING you are, instead of how different you are. Realize how talented you are instead of how weak you are. Realize you are worthy of your dreams.

The Grow NOW Life Cleanse: The Next 3-Steps

The First 5-Steps

6) Exercise at least three days a week.

Science certainly has my back on this one.

There is scientific proof that when an individual exercises, their brain functions more efficiently, and  you will have more energy to complete other tasks throughout your day.

Exercise is a very interesting thing. You can see it clearly these days with things like Crossfit, instagram pictures, and the multi-billion dollar businesses that are GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, protein shakes, Gold's Gym, 24-Hour Fitness, Retro Fitness, Planet Fitness, YMCA, Synergy, etc.

The thing about fitness that nobody wants to admit: it takes NO SKILL.

You do not need talent, you do not need to be athletic.

All you need is that one thing you need to achieve all your goals in life: CONSISTENCY.

Literally all you have to do to achieve your fitness goals is to be consistent.

All those people that you see on instragram, posting in the mirror: The guys with their bicep pics, the girls with their squats and butt pics. They have the courage to that because they achieved consistency!

They went to the gym 3 times or more a week and EARNED the body they wanted.

And what did that new body and gym success bring them? A higher self-confidence and self-image.

So if all you need is consistency to achieve something that great... guess what? ANYONE can do it.

Anyone can be a gym success. ANYONE can earn a higher self-confidence and self-image.

Exercise and the gym is the perfect way to make yourself feel better about yourself. The perfect activity to do in between the grind, the ambition, the countless hours of working toward your ultimate goal.

If you are a beginner, and very out of shape...walk on the treadmill at a very high incline. You will not over-work yourself, but you will sweat, and you will work off the pounds. Combine that with eating well, and of course....consistency, and you can achieve anything!

ANYONE can be a gym success.. and then....ANYONE can reap the benefits of being physically fit.

 7) Meet People who ALREADY have what you want.

Like I always say: Everyone wants to be something BETTER, something BIGGER.

Everyone has one specific purpose in life. Everyone has one true talent. Everyone has one thing they can do for the rest of their lives and BE HAPPY.

Figure out your talents. Figure out our passions. Figure out your goals.

Find that person who already has what you want. Find that person that has already achieved what you are ready to work so hard for. Find them, and GET their contact information.

Do anything you can to contact them. Phone number, Facebook, Linked-In. ANYTHING. You must have a correspondence with this individual.

Then what?

You introduce yourself to that person professionally. Let them know who you are, where you come from, what you want to accomplish and why. DO NOT TAKE NO FOR ANSWER.

You must build a relationship with this person at any cost.  You will NEED them.

If you really want to accomplish your goals, you should have a long list of questions for this person. You should ask them each and every one. And you must make sure you get detailed answers.

Always be professional. Always be courteous.  This person will be a role model, and you will be the apprentice.

This person will end up being one of the first people you thank when you become successful and you have achieved your dreams.

Meet them. Network with them. Learn from them. Train with them. Shadow them. Learn how to GROW from them.

Find this person and prepare to Grow NOW.

8)  NO Drug Use

Let's be honest again: why do people take drugs?

To escape reality.

When you get bored and there is nothing fun to do? You smoke weed
When you get bored and you need to a pick me up? You do cocaine
When you get bored and you need to have more energy? You do molly, ecstasy, etc.
When you get bored and you need to feel more relaxed? You take painkillers.

What is the common theme here: boredom.

Boredom is a very interesting thing.

I believe boredom is very closely tied with immaturity.
When I hear someone say "I'm bored," immaturity is what I immediately think.

This world is filled with pleasures. Filled with fun things to do to better yourself.

There is NO EXCUSE to be bored in this world. ESPECIALLY if you are working toward a goal.

If you are working toward a goal of advancing your life. You should RARELY have free time.

You should be researching, reading, shadowing, practicing...Learning as often as you can.

Just like Malcolm Gladwell described in his book Outliers: you must work relentlessly to become a master at you trade.

Gladwell: "Researchers have settled on what they believe is the magic number for true expertise: 10,000 hours."

10,000 hours?? When will you have time to do drugs?

You should be too busy working.

Also - there is no better way to earn to earn the great distraction of fake friends than to do drugs.

When you start doing drugs - take a step back and observe. You may notice that you have begun hanging out with a lot more people. You may start to feel good because all of sudden, you have a lot more friends.

These people are not your friends. They do not like you for who you are.

They like you because you do the same drug they do.

So congrats, you have a new set of fake friends AND you are doing drugs.

You have begun to truly conform, and the true person you were meant to become is really melting away.

Don't  let this happen to you. Talk to people who already do the drug you are thinking about. Ask them: "If you could go back in time and never even try that drug to begin with, would you?"

Chances are they will say yes I would never even start.

LEARN from their mistake. Don't even start. Stay YOU. Become YOU. Become the BEST YOU.

Achieve your dreams. When you have the career, money, and home you always dreamed of, you will be happy you made these little small choices that were absolutely CORRECT.

Thank you so much for reading. I cannot tell you how much it means to me.

If one person reads this and changes their life for the better, I will be the happiest man alive.

I want you ALL to Grow NOW, and have what you always dreamed of.
